In a large proportion of public schools in Ethiopia there is no access to running water. The implications of not having water access are lack of hygene and high risk of dehidration and health problems.

Description: Capital of North Wollo zone (1,500,000 inhabitants), Woldya population: 55,000.

In a large proportion of public schools in Ethiopia there is no access to running water. The implications of not having water access are lack of hygene and high risk of dehidration and health problems. 
 
The 2010 IPI COOP installed a water tank and drinking fountains and built 16 taps to supply all school students.
