Many schools do not have bathrooms nor latrines. The implications are poor hygene conditions and high risk of infections and poor health. We believed IPI COOP had to help the school to offer appropriate infrastructures to tackle this problem.

Description: Dessie, with a population of 181,658 inhabitants, is the capital of South Wollo zone (2,518,862 of inhabitants).
 
School Description: The Michael Negus shool has 1250 enrolled children. It is located in the poorest neighborhood in the city. 41% of the students are orphans of father or mother or both parents,
