The IPI Cooperation Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2000 (as a “partnership”). In 2011 it was established as a state-wide foundation.
The primary objective of IPI COOP is to protect children in all its aspects and to defend their rights.
IPI COOP is currently implementing projects in four African countries: Mali, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal and Ethiopia. The latter is the country where we have the most experience, local infrastructure and ongoing programs.
To date, fostering homes for orphaned children, support for abandoned health centers, student grants and sponsorships, youth education programs, workshops and comprehensive school support, among others, have so far, our main projects. The success and consolidation of our programs has encouraged us to undertake more ambitious projects.
Our staff is fundamentally volunteer and we are a group of people and professionals from diverse backgrounds, united by the same goal: to do what we know best to support the most vulnerable, women and children in southern countries.
Funds for the projects come from equity, partners, private and public entities, and individual donations.
In addition, IPI COOP conducts an annual external financial audit that guarantees the good management of our resources.
